Koh Wai

This island is south from Koh Chang, around 40 minutes with a slowboat or 20 minutes with a speedboat. On the island there is the PAKARAN resort. Pakaran means CORALS. And that what they do. There is since 3 years a artificial reef, and it is growing. The resort do a lot for the underwater enviroment, as well we sell some fish and coral identification slates (so if you want you can take them underwater too) and the money goes to them. For this they also have a turltel nursory and they teach the fishermans and captains how to protect corals and how to not throw the anker on them. So a good reason to support. Beside this there is nothing else to do on that island only relax and have a chat with them. Stop not true on the other side of Koh Wai is a nice divespot as well. Unluckily the weather conditions mostly make it not possible to dive there.
