New colours for our boat !!!

So these are the new colours of our boat ,

Maybe we should change the name of the boat to NEMO

 Don't worry if you see a huge Clownfish just drifting on the surface ... thats us

 If you see him moving too quickly along the ocean you can put that down to the new turbo on the engine we installed on the dock ..... and well... some other changes too.

 

 The tanks are still at a comfortabe height so you can gear up prior to the dive without hasske ... All sets are ready and prepared by your arrival

 The sundeck got a little more stainless .. and a short extra roof above the stairs to prevent slips even during the rainy season

However, the location of our boat has not changed, it is still on the beach in the middle of klong prao where our small nemo will pick you up from the beach to bring you to his bigger brother.

 In the back as before, a spacious plattform to perform the giant stride and two more stairs at a 45 degree angle to easily exit the water. 

The side stairs have been modified to a 35 degree angle. Making it even easier to exit the water. Only the boat boy complains now as the stairs are a little heavier than before.

The buffet area also got a bigger extension making it much more realxing while choosing which meal to take.

All in all, there have been many changes and improvements this year, big and small. But if you really want to see everything we have done, come and see for yourself.

Dry Dock

Our boat went on the 1st of October to the Dry Dock - for the yearly service and as well as the yearly upgrade.
This time the changes are big!!
Unluckily the weather was not on our side and the first week it was raining, so there was not a lot we could do .... scheduled it should be ready in a few days, but with a delay of a week ... well we all hope it is as soon as possible back in the water.

Since now the weather is soooooo nice, rain stopped sun is out everyday and the sea finaly went to sleep (hopefully for the rest of the season ;))

What we changed - well better you come and check it out yourself, i honestly hope it is back in Klong Prao in a week from now.

Rainy Season again

Sure it is true it is raining ...
but not whole day long, at the moment it is sunny, but i guess in the evening it will rain again. No worries it still is warm outside and underwater you never mind about the rain above. Of course everybody like it more when the sun shines all day long and the sky is blue without clouds at all .... well for this you will have to wait a while.
Until that just come and join us for some diving, so 100 % that you gone get wet out there.

Congratulations to you GIJS alias GIGI

A few days ago you past your last skills even after a few day's of high temprature and some or a lot of medicine had been taken,
you did very well, even the Snorkel test as last trial.

The month you been with us and grow with us has been a productive period for both of us, you gained experience and self confident, as well as became a good observer for the details which are so important to take care of.

We all wish you the best back home and we are looking forward to see you again for the next season. (next time you should not book a flight a few days before songkran)

Wreck diving on the HTMS

Yesterday we've been diving the biggest Wreck of Thailand (again), and the visibility and all conditions where just perfect, no waves, no current. We had two small groups diving and as we left on time we been the first diving boat on the Wreck.
The amount of fish has increased phenomenal since the Ship was sunken (only 4 month ago) special the group of yellow fin barracudas grow extremly, let's take a look on this small movie i made for you:

The same day we did 2 Reef Dives as well, on Secret Reef the Turtle was seen while eating around, not got interrupted from the divers at all. That's the basic diver's should do behave so the underwater animals can go on with their live as usual.

On Hin Luk Bat our last destination of the day the vis was still very good and we could spot some of the bluespotted stingrays.

On the way ...

Our new office looks good already,
we are not completely finished and there are many small steps to pass before we have our OPENING PARTY, but soon we are on the way to it and it will be great.

Again something Scandinavian Chang Diving Center can be proud of. The style is the same as our other office and it looks like it was that big always already. Now if we imagine that there was the wall in the middle it seems to be too small - how could we had that??

Next to the shop of course we still go out for Diving and Snorkeling Trips everyday. now we do have our second classroom, so the courses can be easily made in many languages at the same day.

EXTENTION

It is time to get BIGGER

so it is we extend our main shop in Klong Prao, hmmmm actually we double the size !!!
We got the unit next door , and how we do it  - with quality, so there are walls to break down , glass doors to fit in, windows to set, classroom to made, walls to paint, walls to make new, .....

so i put a few pictures while we are under construction. Of course our business goes on and we do go out on diving trips and make courses in the meantime, but everybody who is not on the boat is helping out to get soon ready to open the new neighbor door just to still be in our shop.
